What makes a Hot Mamma? Positive energy, inner beauty (and let’s face it- when someone has inner beauty, they also have outer beauty), someone who balances life well, and no matter what life throws at them- they see the glass half full. Our Hot Mamma’s are working moms who “have it all”- family, career and happiness. And in true OCMAMMA style- our Hot Mamma’s are also…HOT.

How does your business help other moms and/or kids?
I can do all the legwork, so they don’t have to, so they have more time to focus on their work or families. I always say it’s my full time job – it shouldn’t be yours!
How do you balance work and kids?
This is always fun! Well, I spend as much time with my kids as I can, and fortunately my office is only a few blocks from my home, and from the kid’s preschool, so I take care of them in the morning before work, drop my son off at school at 9am, then go to work. The kids come by to visit me at the office in the afternoon when I’m there, and then I’m typically home by 5-6pm. After work, it’s all about family. I rarely answer my cell phone after hours, and try to avoid evening or weekend appointments. It’s hard, but I set limits with my clients.
What is your favorite activity with your kiddo?
I love to put on fun music, pump it up loud, and jump and dance around the house with them. They love it, and we have fun being silly.
What is your favorite online site for kids or moms?
Other than yours? J I get a lot of emails from Baby Zone, but I usually don’t read them. . . I do like PoshTots for their cute baby furniture.
What is one of your favorite books about parenting?
Anything from Dr. Brazelton (sp?)
What is your biggest guilty pleasure?
Right now it’s drinking something with caffeine, as I have not had anything caffeinated in over 3 years! I am making up for lost time. Also, getting my hair done (once every 2 months), and sitting in the salon for 3 hours without answering the phones. I take a pile of design magazines, and pour through all the latest trends. I feel relaxed, beautiful, and updated all in one trip!
If you won the lotto today, what would be the first thing you would spend money on? (assuming you have to buy yourself something.. I know, it is a stretch)
Well, if I were to be totally honest, I would move forward with the plans to remodel our house and add on 2 more bedrooms and another bathroom, so we can really enjoy living here in Laguna, and not feel so squished in our 900 square foot cottage! (The second thing I would do is buy my dad a Porsche. I’ve always promised him one. Okay, and then I would take off to
