How does your business help other moms and/or kids? Mom’s and kids love twistbands because the soft and comfortable and are great for hair emergencies. In addition to the fashion Twistbands sold at retail the organization works with non-profits like Orangewood and National Charity League to help create awareness bands. The ponybands and headbands can be printed with logos or messages, making them a perfectly unique and stylish way to spread your word.
How do you balance work and kids? I have a lot of help from my husband, family and a trusted caregiver. This gives me peace of mind to pursue my career and feel confident that my daughter is in good hands.
What is your favorite activity with your kiddo? "Now that her hair is getting longer she loves for me to style it... she sits so patiently and I can give her pigtails with Twistbands. They are gentle enough to use even on baby-fine hair!"
What is one piece of advice that you could share with other mom’s? Follow your instincts and own your power.

What is one of your favorite books about parenting? Happiest Baby on the Block, by Dr. Harvey Karp and the Dunstan Baby Language video. Both of these resources help teach you to understand your baby’s cues and techniques to comfort them.
What is your biggest guilty pleasure?I like to take catnaps listening to the Barefoot Contessa on the Food Network.
If you won the lotto today, what would be the first thing you would spend money on? (assuming you have to buy yourself something.. I know, it is a stretch. My grandparents were artists from Laguna Beach and exhibited at the Festival of Arts for over 30 years so I appreciate all mediums of art. I would buy an oil painting by Robert Porte, called Sunspots from the Peter Blake Gallery in Laguna Beach.
